Kinda weird being on Blogger now. I was so used to MSN. No one reads it anyway, so I guess it doesn't matter... but whatever.
I'm officially a senior in college. As in, old and graduating soon. How weird is that? I took my last finals today, and hence became one of the old people that I thought of as all-knowing when I was a freshman. Sweet? Yes. I feel like my life is finally starting.
Max graduates on Friday, and leaves for basic training on Monday. He'll be gone for three months. Yuck. I thought it might not be terrible, but since I won't hear his voice for that whole time, and receive only the occasional letter if he has time... whoopee. I'm going to write him a lot, though.. it's going to suck not having him here. I guess it's something to get through, right? Life hands you obstacles all the time. Even if a peach has a pit, it's still really good, right? Same type of thing. PS, he's legal now. 18 at last. It's kind of a weird thing, because now he'll be out of high school and an adult, so no one can tease us anymore. haaaaaa. Except Hammer, because he's Hammer, and amazingly hilarious.
My stomach is growling. Shhhh....
Awkward moment of the week: running into Mr. and Mrs. Dr. Fletcher in Sam's Club, only to discover that they are both wearing denim shorts and ragged t shirts. It was like I was in first grade again, convinced that teachers disappear at the end of each day, only to magically appear at school again a day later.
I should really probably sleep. Tomorrow is Awards Day at the high school, and I'm going.
